A new photo of Prince Harry and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex during their trip to the UK has been unveiled – and fans are taken with one detail in particular.
The couple’s friend, Misan Harriman, shared the image to his Instagram. It was taken during their time in Manchester to attend the One Young World Summit in September.
In the new photo, captioned “A joyous moment with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex”, Harry and Meghan are holding hands while the duke gazes lovingly at his beaming wife.
Royal fans were quick to take to the comments, many zeroing in on a touching detail.
“Love Harry’s gaze at his wife!” one wrote.
“Their love radiates 😍❤️🔥,” another added.
“Love the picture & the moment, you captured their joy & love ❤️❤️❤️❤️,” a third penned.
The new photo comes three weeks after Harriman released a black-and-white shot of Harry and Meghan from the same event.
In the stoic picture, the couple intertwine their hands as they prepare to enter the event.
“The Duke & Duchess of Sussex moments before attending the opening ceremony of @OneYoungWorld last month,” Harriman captioned the photo.
In September, the Duchess of Sussex took the stage at the One Young World summit at Bridgewater Hall in Manchester where she addressed 2,000 people about gender equality.
The speech, however, received plenty of backlash from royal observers, with many deeming the address self-serving.
For the occasion, Meghan spoke about her own experience being young and ambitious, while referring to herself as “the girl from Suits” (her old TV show) who eventually earned a “seat at the table” with world leaders and activists.
She also mused about how drastically her life had changed in recent years, and told the audience that they are the future.
At the end of the speech, critics pointed out that the duchess had made one brief anecdote about a woman other than herself, while referencing herself 54 times.
“I can’t visualise or comprehend how the 2,000 young people understood a word of what she was talking about,” Ingrid Seward, editor-in-chief of Majesty Magazine, said to The Sun.
“It made no sense. It was all about her and related everything to herself.”
Many, however, praised Meghan’s poise and elegance, commending her speech in the process.
