There may not have been an official engagement announcement yet, but Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s flourishing love seems to be manifesting in the very practical step of moving in together.

The couple have apparently been house-hunting around the ridiculously British-sounding area of Oxfordshire, particularly the posh Cotswold hills.

A royal insider told the Daily Mail Harry has a soft spot for the area thanks to his dad living in the same area.

“He is searching for a new home in the area,” the friend reveals.

“Before Meghan, he was vaguely looking in Norfolk, but didn’t find what he wanted. Now, with her input, he’s renewed his search.”

Another local who knows the family said: “It’s not surprising that Harry would like to live where he feels at home.

“He’s lived in the Cotswolds all his life and often returns to visit his father. After his mother died, it became a place of sanctuary.

“When the boys entered their teens, Charles bought several homes in the area, thinking they might want one in the future.”

The couple would be in good company. Just an hour from London, the lush countryside already hosts the Camerons, Beckhams, Kate Moss, Lily Allen and Stella McCartney.

Meanwhile, new reports have surfaced claiming Meghan Markle will not be signing on for the next series of Suits and it’s being called the biggest engagement hint yet.
