Meghan Markle may have only been welcomed into the royal fold late this year but she’s already made her mark on the world, being declared the most Googled actress of 2016.
Google just released the most searched-for terms of 2016 and it appears the 35-year-old Suits star was ranked ahead of last year’s title holders Ruby Rose and Jennifer Lawrence.
Since Prince Harry went official with his relationship his American girlfriend has been the subject of much speculation – something he addressed in a statement in November – and it seems many have turned to the internet for answers.
Other actresses on the list included Oscar-winner Brie Larson, Fuller House star Jodie Sweetin, Star Wars heroine Daisy Ridley and Marion Cotillard, who largely took out second spot due to speculation she was having an affair with Brad Pitt following his shock split from Angelina Jolie.
Incidentally, Brad Pitt took out the number one search spot for the blokes, followed by Taylor Swift’s ex Tom Hiddleston and Girls star Adam Driver.
