Long before she was one of the most-watched celebrities in the world, the woman we now know as the Duchess of Sussex was once just a humble, hardworking actress trying to make it in Hollywood.
While she made it big on the very successful drama Suits, like many up-and-coming actors she also starred in a few flops, including the 2015 film Anti-Social.
Meghan starred alongside British actor Gregg Sulkin in the crime film – she played his girlfriend – about a successful street artist who is forced to jeopardise his future to help his criminal brother when gang rivalry escalates.
Now Sulkin has revealed what it was like to work with Meghan, as well as responding to recent reports that the mum-to-be is “difficult” and a “diva.
During an appearance on American talk show Fair Game with Kristine Leahy, Gregg defended Meghan amid the backlash over her family dramas and rumours of a feud with Kate Middleton.
“Everybody does know her as a princess, but in real life, she genuinely is also like a princess,” Sulkin said.
“She is one of the classiest, the nicest, one of the most sincere and genuine people I’ve ever met.”

A proud British actor, Sulkin said he was thrilled to see his home country take such a liking to his former co-star.
“She was a superstar. To me, I’m so proud of the fact that she’s part of my country’s history in all honesty, aside from obviously having a personal relationship with her,” Sulkin said.
Directly addressing some of the negative media attention Meghan has received recently, he said: “I just think the way she’s handling it – obviously the press- you know, it hasn’t been easy for her.
“And she’s stuck to her guns, which is, you know, ‘when they go low, we go high’ sort of mentality, and I think she’s done that. I think she’s been a class act.”

Rumours of tension between the two Duchesses escalated following reports that Catherine was reportedly left “in tears” after her daughter Princess Charlotte’s bridesmaid dress fitting for Meghan’s wedding in May.
It’s unclear exactly what caused the Duchess to burst into tears, but The Daily Beast claims Kate and Meghan had an argument over Charlotte’s dress.
An insider told the UK’s Telegraph: “Kate had only just given birth to Prince Louis and was feeling quite emotional.”
Things got worse when it was revealed that Harry and Meghan would be moving out of Kensington Palace and into their new home at Frogmore Cottage in Windsor.
Just last week the royal family revealed that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex would be creating a new Sussex household, formally separating them from Kate and Prince William, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

Meghan, who has deleted her social media accounts, reportedly feels like she “has no voice” and is “frustrated” that she is unable to defend herself.
“It’s just been frustrating and stressful to have no voice,” a royal source told Us Weekly.
“She’s always relied on her own voice to stand up for others, and for herself. So not being able to say anything is a debilitating feeling.
“She’s always been so independent, her entire life, and that’s all been taken away from her. She’s always been able to clap back on social media and now she can’t.”
