If Duchess Meghan’s baby were to have a favourite colour already, we’re pretty sure it would be beige.
Indeed the stylish royal has stepped out in another neutral-toned ensemble, and her baby bump couldn’t look any cuter.
With her hair swept into a chic bun and projecting her radiant smile, the Duchess made quite an impression on guests – some more than others…
Visiting the National Theatre on Wednesday, of which she is the royal patron, Meghan braved the cold in a neutral coordinating dress and jacket by American designer Brandon Maxwell along with some trendy Aquazurra heels to finish off the look.
She waved and smiled at onlookers before meeting with members from the Pericles company, the National Theatre’s first Public Acts production that brought people of all ages together to bring new life into Shakespeare’s works.
During the engagement, Meghan watched young school children put on a short performance of the play War Horse, which was created to mark the centenary of Armistice Day.
But there was one striking image from the event that stood out above the rest – and it’s a sight to behold.
Posted to Twitter by Kensington Palace, the image shows Meghan smiling down at a young boy who looks completely enchanted by the royal.
Alongside the image, Kensington Palace wrote: “Thank you to the children of Edith Neville Primary School for a fantastic performance @NationalTheatre!”.
The engagement was also a poignant one for Meghan given it was the first time she had visited the National Theatre as its official patron.
The pregnant royal took over the role from the Queen earlier this month – a fitting move given Meghan’s Hollywood background.
Meghan is due to give birth in the British Spring, believed to be around late March/early April, and going by her burgeoning baby bump, it really doesn’t seem that far away!
But whether she’s nearing her due date or not, the Duchess hasn’t slowed down as 2019 gets underway.
Earlier in January, she hosted a secret meeting with New Zealand Prime Minister, Jacinda Ardern, where they reflected on her whirlwind tour around the North and South Island with Prince Harry in October last year.
And that same week, Meghan also secretly hosted another friend for brunch – complete with her very own speciality smashed avo!
In a picture posted by her long time pal and makeup artist Daniel Martin, Meghan’s brunch spread was on full display for the world to see, and it looked good.
But while any glimpse of Meghan and her growing baby bump is exciting, we’re expecting her busy schedule to slow down somewhat as she nears her due date.
The royal parents to be are set to move to a new property, Frogmore Cottage in Windsor where they will raise the new baby. The house also holds a special place for the pair, whose stunning engagement shoot was held in the very same grounds in December 2017.
The house itself boasts a whopping 10 bedrooms and it’s believed the duo will be adding a gym, yoga studio and baby nursery during their overhaul.
