The Princess of Wales adorned her first tiara in nearly three years for Tuesday’s state banquet, held at Buckingham Palace. The occasion was celebrated as the first state visit of King Charles III’s reign.

She complemented the tiara with a never-before-seen Jenny Packham Elspeth gown and an Alexander McQueen Butterfly Box clutch.

Last Monday, Catherine donned a black coat dress with a suede clutch and downturn hat while joining King Charles III and other royals at the Cenotaph for Remembrance Sunday.

In a poignant touch, the princess wore the stunning pair of sea pearl earrings that once belonged to the People’s Princess herself.

Most notably, Diana wore the drop pearls to an English National Ballet performance in Budapest in 1992. She was known to pair the gems with her iconic Spencer tiara, which is set to be inherited by Catherine’s daughter Princess Charlotte.
