Catherine, Duchess of Cornwall, 40, looked more like a princess than ever on her latest royal outing.
The Princess of Wales adorned her first tiara in nearly three years for Tuesday’s state banquet, held at Buckingham Palace. The occasion was celebrated as the first state visit of King Charles III’s reign.
She complemented the tiara with a never-before-seen Jenny Packham Elspeth gown and an Alexander McQueen Butterfly Box clutch.
In some extra special touches, the royal opted to once again wear Princess Diana’s south sea pearl earrings as well as the Queen’s four strand pearl bracelet, paying homage to her late mother- and grandmother-in-law.
Catherine finished the look with the Royal Family order and the Dame Grand Cross of the Royal Victorian Order star and sash.
It was a busy day for the 40-year-old, who also sported an entirely different outfit for the South African state visit.
Catherine stunned in a maroon bespoke Emilia Wickstead coat-dress, paired with a Mulberry cranberry clutch and Gianvitro Rossi burgundy suede pumps.
Again paying tribute to Diana, the princess wore her late mother-in-law’s Collingwood pearl earrings, as well as the Prince of Wales’ feather brooch.
The royal family marked the poignant occasion on Instagram.

“The President of the Republic of South Africa has been formally welcomed to the UK by The King and The Queen Consort at Horse Guards Parade,” the caption read.
“During the ceremonial welcome, a Royal Salute was fired by The King’s Troop Royal Horse Artillery from Green Park, and another Royal Salute was fired by the Honourable Artillery Company at the Tower of London.
“Accompanied by The King, The President inspected a Guard of Honour before joining the Carriage Procession to Buckingham Palace.”
Last Monday, Catherine donned a black coat dress with a suede clutch and downturn hat while joining King Charles III and other royals at the Cenotaph for Remembrance Sunday.
In a poignant touch, the princess wore the stunning pair of sea pearl earrings that once belonged to the People’s Princess herself.
Most notably, Diana wore the drop pearls to an English National Ballet performance in Budapest in 1992. She was known to pair the gems with her iconic Spencer tiara, which is set to be inherited by Catherine’s daughter Princess Charlotte.
