Turns out Kate has another hidden talent – tennis!

According to PEOPLE, Kate regularly takes tennis lessons at the Hurlingham club in Fulham, and she’s leaving a pretty good impression.

“She hits the ball with nice top spin. She is a good minor athlete,” a source at the club told the publication.

And to top it off, it looks like Kate’s three children also enjoy coming along to watch their mum hone her skills.

“It wasn’t hard-going tennis — they weren’t rushing around. They are obviously choosing to improve their tennis,” the source explained.

The entire Cambridge family are regulars at the club.

According to the insider, both Kate and husband Prince William have both been known to have lunch at the club along with their two eldest children Princess Charlotte, four, and Prince George, six.

The source described the children as “perky and alert,” at the time, adding, “they were enjoying the sport and some lovely, natural family time”.

It’s no secret that the Duchess is an avid tennis fan.

As patron to the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet club, Kate has attended numerous tennis tournaments in recent years.

And of course, every year royal watchers have grown accustomed to seeing Kate attend the Wimbledon Championships.

A die-hard fan, the royal has been known to get heavily invested in matches – her facial expressions say it all!

Given Kate and Wills love for sport, it’s natural that their children will also undoubtedly follow in their footsteps.

In October, six-year-old Prince George went viral for his animated display at a soccer match between Aston Villa and Norwich City.

During the match, the young royal was seen punching the air, yelping with glee and essentially, putting on a meme-worthy display as he watched his favourite team win.

Princess Charlotte is also a keen sportswoman.

She was spotted showing off her footy skills as she kicked a ball with George back in July while the family attended a polo match.

And recently, Prince William revealed she and her elder brother love to play football together – but things can get a little competitive.

A guest who spoke to Wills during one of his public appearances told HELLO!: “When I was chatting with Prince William he said to me, when he plays football with George and Charlotte, when Charlotte’s in goal George says to her that ‘Charlotte I’m better than you’.”

Apparently, William is quick to clear things up, saying: “George, Charlotte could be as good as you.”

Right he is! Perhaps we’ve got some future star soccer players in the making?
