The Princess of Wales has paid homage to her late mother-in-law Princess Diana while attending a remembrance day event.
Dressed in all black, Catherine donned a black coat dress with a suede clutch and downturn hat while joining King Charles III and other royals at the Cenotaph for Remembrance Sunday.
In a poignant touch, the princess wore a stunning pair of sea pearl earrings that once belonged to the Peopleโs Princess herself.

Most notably, Diana wore the drop pearls to an English National Ballet performance in Budapest in 1992. She was known to pair the gems with her iconic Spencer tiara, which is set to be inherited by Catherineโs daughter Princess Charlotte.
The royal family marked the occasion with a slew of photos on their official Instagram account.

The Remembrance event comes four days after Catherine gave one of her red poppies to a young royal fan.
During her inaugural visit to Colham Manor Childrenโs Centre in Hillingdon, west London, the Princess of Wales was greeted by a chatty boy named Akeem, and the patron of the Maternal Mental Health Alliance was more than happy to oblige in a conversation with the three-year-old.
โMy name is Catherine,โ the royal introduced herself after Akeem inquired. โVery nice to meet you,โ she continued.

โYou can have my poppy,โ she said as she removed it from her coat.
โDo you know what this is for?โ Catherine asked as she handed Akeem the poppy. โItโs remembering all the soldiers who died in the war.
โThere you go thatโs for you, you look after it,โ she continued. โIs there a teacher here or your mummy? Is your mmmy here? Shall I give her the pin in case she wants to put it on?โ
