All eyes were on the Duchess, who looked spectacular in her well-tailored wool coat dress with black lapels and cuffs, styled with black pumps.

However, royal fans noticed that her ensemble was a subtle nod to her late mother-in-law, Princess Diana.

While they’re not a perfect match as Kate’s piece is dubbed the ‘Marine’ while Diana’s is a ‘Herringbone,’ the royal women appear uncannily similar side-by-side.

The Duchess has been in Copenhagen to learn from academics and health professionals about Denmark’s work in early years development that provides excellent programs for children.

The day prior she met with parents at Copenhagen’s Children’s Museum and the mother of Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis played with the babes and children at a Forest Kindergarten, which approaches early learning with an emphasis on social and emotional development rather than academic.
