Now with three children, a beautiful countryside home and even a YouTube channel under their belts, the pair have settled into their marriage before our very eyes.

But what didn’t happen before our eyes was their relationship origins at the University of St Andrews – only a select few were privy to that.

In a new interview with PEOPLE, the pair’s former classmate Laura Warshauer has revealed what really happened during those first few meetings between William and Kate.

According to Warshauer, the pair “definitely had chemistry.”

“Whenever Kate was in the room, Will was obviously paying attention to her,” she told the publication.

She continued to explain their effortless spark.

“When we’d be sitting at lunch in the dining hall and the two of them would be talking, it was amazing to see how natural it was, how they had so much to say to each other.”

“Looking back, there were all these small moments – certainly moments where I was like, ‘Wow, this could really be something.'”

The pair were married in 2011.

The pair have recently celebrated their 10 year wedding anniversary, after marrying in a glorious royal spectacle at Westminster Abbey in April 2011.

That fairytale day was 10 years in the making – the couple first met in 2001 while both attending St Andrews in Scotland.

Kate has said previously of her first meeting with William: “I actually think I went bright red when I met you and sort of scuttled off, feeling very shy about meeting you.”

They later ended up moving in to a four-bed flat with two other friends. From there, it looked written in the stars.

They now have three gorgeous children.

Now with three children, Prince George, eight, Princess Charlotte, six and Prince Louis, three, it looks as though Wills and Kate’s growing family is complete.
