Royal baby Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor is just a week old, but already the little bundle of joy has had some incredible visitors to the Sussex family residence at Frogmore Cottage.

While his father Prince Harry was whisked off to the Netherlands for work duties, Archie stayed at home and chilled out with Meghan, with her mother Doria Ragland by their side.

“Archie’s first week at home with Mum and Dad was quiet they wanted that personal space with their newborn,” royal correspondent Omid Scobie told Good Morning America.

“This week it’s all about the visitors, with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge visiting tomorrow and the Prince of Wales visiting later this week,” he said.

That’s right – Duchess Catherine and Prince William are yet to meet little Archie, thanks to a busy work schedule that involved launching their new mental health phone service, Shout, a 24-hour textline that “supports people who need advice in a tough moment.”

When asked about Archie’s arrival last week, Prince William they would be meeting their new nephew very shortly.

“We’re thrilled, absolutely thrilled and obviously looking forward to seeing them in the next few days when things have quietened down,” William said.

“I’m very pleased and glad to welcome my brother to the sleep deprivation society that is parenting, so yeah, I’ll be looking forward to that.”

But baby Archie hasn’t been left without some high profile visitors. Princess Diana’s sister – and Prince Harry’s aunt – Lady Jane Fellowes reportedly visited her nephew at Frogmore last week.

Lady Fellowes was reportedly one of the first family members to meet Archie, as one of Harry’s closest connections to his late mother, according to The Telegraph.

The Spencer family have long been included in the royal family events.

Lady Fellowes was a guest at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding in May last year – she posed alongside Doria, Prince Charles and Duchess Camilla on the steps of St George’s Chapel – and the Spencer family were mentioned in Archie’s official birth announcement, noting their “delight” and the bub’s happy arrival.

And in keeping with Harry and Meghan’s firm wishes to raise Archie as a normal child with no title and as little fanfare as possible, the Royal Collection Trust has confirmed that no official memorabilia will be released to mark Archie’s birth.

Unlike the arrival of his cousins Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, whose births were commemorated with official merchandise, including a line of ornaments, plates, mugs, a limited edition bear and other crockery, avid royal fans will be unable to purchase such items for Archie’s birth.

A spokesperson for the Trust, a charity chaired by Prince Charles, confirmed the news to UK newspaper The Independent.

“We have no new ranges to announce,” the spokesperson said.

While there are plenty of unofficial items of royal memorabilia celebrating baby Archie for sale, these are created by fans and not approved by the royal family.
