If you’ve seen the latest pictures of Duchess Catherine and thought, ‘I’ve seen this before’, you wouldn’t be wrong… Sort of.
On Thursday, the Duchess stepped out in an outfit that for once, us Australians can wholeheartedly relate to as we delve into the cooler months – layers of it.
Kate and husband Prince William visited Wolverhampton in the West Midlands this week as they promoted awareness during Mental Health Awareness Week.
For the day’s events, the pair partook in several competitive activities, including table tennis and archery.
For the event, Kate strolled in wearing another perfect autumnal get-up – a gorgeous polka dot navy blue blouse by Tory Burch and a pair of wide legged trousers.
The blue blouse, featuring a unique white pointed collar with shell edging, was topped off with a blue overcoat worn over the top.
Interestingly, you might be familiar with the style on Kate – she also has a gorgeous long blue polka dot dress by Alessandra Rich, featuring a similar pointed collar with a button down front.
While it would have been a genius move, we can confirm Kate didn’t alter the dress design as a shirt for Thursday’s event.
Still, it would have been a pretty great move to see the old dress tucked into pants hack on none other than the Duchess of Cambridge…
The Duke and Duchess spent much of their time playing and speaking to young people at the event as they checked out the The Way Wolverhampton’s Youth Zone.
The pair later visited Base 25 in Wolverhampton, where they spoke to staff and clients of the mental health charity.
For their last stop, the royals visited Hugglepets, a Not-For-Profit that assists young people with animal therapy.
Kate even got to hold a few of the animals, including a friendly critter named Barbara the bearded dragon.
