In a sweet collaboration reveal, the Duchess of Cambridge made a surprise appearance with Jill Biden as the First Lady and her husband, Joe Biden flew into the UK for the G7 Summit.

On Friday, the pair gave fans a small hint of their whirlwind collab to come by visiting the Connor Downs Academy – a primary school in Hayle, West Cornwall.

For the eye-catching event, Kate wore a stunning pink Alexander McQueen dress, which featured short sleeves and a thick belted waist.

Jill meanwhile contrasted perfectly with Kate by wearing a fuchsia pink tweed blazer over her white dress.

As soon as the pair stepped out, it was loud and clear that these two women hold an incredible amount of influence and power.

And they must have known the striking appeal they would have together – because they utilised their similarities for another wonderful project.

Indeed the pair both became writers of a kind by penning a joint op-ed on the importance of early childhood – a topic Kate is particularly passionate about and bases a lot of her work around.

In the stirring essay which was published by CNN, the pair wrote: “The two of us met on Friday in Cornwall, gathering early childhood education experts from both of our countries together in the southwesternmost corner of the UK as the leaders of the G7 nations met in person for the first time since the pandemic began.”

They continued: “These countries are united in the view that we should look to not just build our nations back to where they were before the pandemic, but that we should be ambitious in our vision and plan a stronger future.”

Speaking at a grass roots level, the two mothers also added: “We can all make sure that the parents in our lives — the young couple who lives next door, the single mother or father we work with or the brother or sister raising their first child — feel valued, supported, and cared for.”

“We also need to value those who work with babies and young children; they play an essential part in the future of our communities.”

Of course, it wasn’t just Cornwall that Kate and Jill dabbled in during the whirlwind weekend.

Later that day, they both joined other members of the royal family – including The Queen herself for the G7 Summit, which was what the US President and First Lady had specially visited for.

This time wearing a stunning white blazer dress with her hair in long loose curls, the images of herself, The Queen and the Duchess of Cornwall were striking in their own right.

And yes, just to be clear – in the space of a day, Kate pulled two stunning looks off, made two dazzling appearances and published a joint byline.
