Accompanied by her doting husband and next in line to the throne, Prince William and their eldest children, Prince George, 9, and Princess Charlotte, 7, Kate was a picture of perfection in a stunning maroon outfit, matching that of her ‘mini me’ daughter.

An in a thoughtful touch, the special service was hosted by Kate as a tribute to the life and legacy of the late Queen Elizabeth II, who passed away peacefully in Scotland in September 2022.

Kate has continued to stay in the good graces of the public and press during a tumultuous time for the royal family.

”The carol service will celebrate and showcase the joy that human connection can bring: forging friendships and strengthening communities, creating legacies of humility and kindness, whilst also providing relief and comfort in times of difficulty or loss.

”The service will combine both traditional and modern elements, reaching people of all faiths and none,” Kensington Palace shared prior to the event.

To support Kate’s spirited endeavour, the family was joined by Kate’s siblings Pippa and James, Sophie, Countess of Wessex, Camilla, Queen Consort, King Charles, Princess Beatrice and her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi as well as Princess Eugenie and her husband, Jack Brooksbank just to name a few.

The carols were a star studded affair.

And in a sweet tribute to the late Queen, there were even Paddington Bear ornaments on Christmas inside.

The unlikely royal mascot was not associated with the Queen until Buckingham Palace came up with an idea to film her acting opposite the beloved British bear to launch to launch her televised Jubilee concert.

The happy snaps were accompanied by William calling for ”togetherness’ in a speech at the service, quoting the Queen’s 2021 Christmas address.

”At Christmas, I am always struck by how the spirit of togetherness lies also at the heart of the Christmas story.”

His call for togetherness presumably relates to the united front the royal family have put on in the wake of the bomshell Harry & Meghan docuseries.
