It’s not every day you see a member of the royal family on the school run!
Duchess Catherine surprised parents and staff at London’s Stockwell Gardens Nursery to discuss her landmark survey #5BigQuestions that focuses on early childhood development.
Dressed in a chic blue coat, the Duchess of Cambridge looked as stylish as ever, but wasn’t afraid to get her hands dirty and help out in the kitchens.
Along her smart teal blue coat, the ever-stylish royal also donned a cream knitted jumper by French brand Sézane and black skinny jeans.
Accessorised with black boots and gold drop earrings, Duchess Catherine was all smiles as she greeted the nursery staff.
Unlike her outing from the previous day, Kate wore her engagement and eternity rings, having left them at home for health and safety reasons before.
While the Duchess spent much time chatting with teachers, staff and parents about her survey and the importance of good, nutritious food for child development, she also helped to serve breakfast to the children.
And the royal mum-of-three was clearly in her element as she laughed and played with the youngsters and served foods including cereal, fruit and milk.
Rumours recently circulated that the Cambridge brood could expand with one more baby, but on a recent trip to Bradford, Duchess Catherine reportedly started chatting about the prospect of more children, and told a well-wisher: “I don’t think William wants any more.”
It’s been a busy January for the Duchess of Cambridge, who has travelled the length and breadth of the UK to promote her survey.
According to HELLO! magazine, the royal nursery visit was meant to take place the week before, when the 5 Big Questions survey launched, however it was postponed due to bad weather.
With her husband Prince William, Duchess Catherine is also set to appear at the BAFTA awards this coming Sunday in London, but fashion fans doubt she’ll wear a new gown for the occasion.
