The Duchess of Cambridge was photographed shovelling dirt onto shrubs in Yellowknife, Canada, wearing one of the most unsuitable gardening outfits of all time – a short cream linen Malene Birger dress, which sells for $410, and sky-high nude heels.
Despite the difficulties her attire presented, Kate grinned throughout the planting, but drew the line at playing hockey with her husband Prince William afterwards. The 29-year-old told the crowd she couldn’t possibly run in high heels.
