Just the two of us! Duchess Catherine and Prince George’s play date

Duchess Catherine traded in her regal wear to play monster with her adorable son, Prince George on their very sweet mother-son play date.

The 32-year-old and her 22-month-old son were spotted having a blast London’s Holland Park, playing a game of monster chase recently.

In her first known outing since welcoming Princess Charlotte, one onlooker told People Catherine and George looked very happy.

“It looked like she was pretending to be a monster, flailing her arms about and chasing him,” the witness observed of the playful mum.

“She was play-acting just like all mums do and he was running around loving it – he looked very happy.”

The stunning park is just a 10-minute drive from the family’s home at Kensington Palace in London.

Playful Prince George having a blast with his parents.

Completely relaxed, the royal mother showed no sign of weariness despite having a newborn at home. In fact she and George both looked well and rocked coordinating ensembles.

“They had matching waxed-green coats on, similar to a Regatta [brand], and dark jeans with boots. They both looked matching,” the source noted to the publication.

“He looked like such a happy lad, being chased by his mom and enjoying the swings, slides, roundabouts – they were going on everything. They looked just like any other mum and toddler. ”

The park-goer was reminded of a Disney film as they looked on to the royals.

“It was a bit like Monsters, Inc.!”

Too much cute to handle!
