While some royals have had a whirlwind romance, the love story between Princess Eugenie and Jack Banksbrook has been the kind of slow burn that promises to last.
Having met during their university years at the young age of 19, the couple have now been together for over a decade.
After marrying at St George’s Chapel, Windsor in October 2018, Eugenie and Jack have made several official royal appearances together, as well as continued their own careers in the background.

How did Jack Brooksbank meet Princess Eugenie?
Princess Eugenie was just a 19-year-old student at Newcastle University when she met her man.
Introduced by her friends, she came across the hospitality heavyweight at the Swiss ski resort of Verbier.
The location is especially dear to the Yorks with Fergie and her ex Prince Andrew buying a a luxury chalet there, for all the family to enjoy.
After dating for a short time, the couple went public and started attending events together from 2011, with Jack meeting Eugenie’s royal relatives soon after.
What does Jack Brooksbank do for a living?
Jack proudly works in the hospitality industry.
Starting off at a pub, he went on to become the highly coveted manager of Mahiki nightclub in London, which used to be the old stomping ground for Eugenie’s cousins Prince William and Prince Harry.
These days he’s the brand ambassador of Casamigos Tequila, which was co-founded by George Clooney, Rande Gerber and Mike Meldman.
It’s clear Jack’s love lies in hospitality as he once confessed: “I want to create a chain of pubs.
“It has been my dream since I was 18. I have fond memories of Sunday roasts in pubs with log fires, and it’s something I want to recreate.”
How long has Princess Eugenie been with Jack Brooksbank?
Princess Eugenie and Jack have been dating for about 11 years.
The couple endured a slight bump when Eugenie moved from London to New York back in 2013 after landing a job with online auction house Paddle8.
Working there for a few years, the pair made their long-distance relationship work.
“He’s not a jet-setty type,” a royal insider remarked at the time, explaining Skype was crucial for them.
“They have lots of lovely friends supporting them too,” the pal added.

Jack finally popped the question by a picturesque lake while on a holiday with Eugenie in Nicaguara in 2018.
“I was over the moon,” Eugenie told BBC 1 of the proposal that year. “[It was a] complete surprise. But it was the perfect moment, we couldn’t be happier.”
He even chose a Cartier ring featuring a pink sapphire that closely resembled the one Eugenie’s father, Prince Andrew, presented to her mother, Sarah, Duchess of York in the 1980s.
The royal family announced the pair’s engagement in January 2018 and just a few months later, in October, the couple said “I do” in a lavish royal wedding at Windsor.

It is always a good thing when your in-laws love you, and boy, is Jack adored by the royals.
Jack is a regular at the York’s family day outs, including the royal family tradition of attending Ascot.
Even before Eugenie and Jack married, the family revealed, “Sarah sees him as a son-in-law already. She and Andrew adore Jack. He is a lovely boy and he has really fitted into the family.”
Fergie herself has gushed to her fans following the couple’s engagement announcement, “We love Jack and I AM SO EXCITED to have a son, a brother and a best friend. Eugenie is one of the finest people I know and so together it will be pure harmony.”
Meanwhile, Jack’s parents told the BBC, “We could not be more delighted with the news of the engagement.”
