Crown Princess Mary isn’t afraid of getting into the thick of things, even when said things are covered in a sizeable layer of snow.
Taking to Instagram this week, the Danish royal shared several candid snaps from her family’s holiday in Switzerland – and they’ve brought a very special guest.
Sharing the beautiful images on Instagram, the Crown Princess’ holiday in the Swiss country is showcased in all its snow-filled glory.
And it was a very inclusive family holiday – even their pup, Grace has come along!
Written in Danish, the Instagram caption translates to: “A greeting from Switzerland where Grace enjoys life in the mountains and snow.”
The Danish royal household also added a picture credit: “H.K.H. Kronprinsessen og Kongehuset.”
The five beautiful photos highlight the beauty of the Swiss mountains, with Grace setting a striking foreground in the stunning scenic snaps.
In one pic, Princess Mary’s son, nine-year-old Vincent is seen with the pup, and in another, Mary herself is seen in full ski gear alongside her furry friend.
The trip coincides with the family’s temporary move to Switzerland, where the children are currently studying at an international boarding school there.
Mary moved cross-country with her children in January, and will remain there in support of her four children, Prince Christian, 14, Princess Isabella, 12, and twins Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine.
Meanwhile, Prince Frederik has been unable to stay with the children as long as Mary has due to his various duties back in Denmark.
However he has been visiting wherever possible – but at his own risk it seems…
Indeed the Prince shocked fans last week when he had a skiing accident in Switzerland. He required an operation to his arm, but seems to already be back in action.
It certainly seems like this has been quite the event-filled holiday for the royal family!
