Monaco’s royal family are celebrating some rather exciting news – Prince Christian of Hanover and his wife of three years, Alessandra de Osma are expecting their first child!
Christian is Princess Caroline of Monaco’s stepson, and is the son of Prince Ernst August of Hanover.
In 2017, he married his wife in a civil ceremony in London. In 2018, the pair then celebrated with a religious ceremony in Peru.
Their new baby will be born into a well established extended family.
Perhaps the new bub will even have some sweet playmates off the bat – Monaco’s Princess Charlene and Prince Albert have two young twins, Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella, who turned five in December.
Christian and Alessandra also have a slew of A-list pals who will likely dote over the new addition.
At their 2018 nuptials, the pair hosted a number of well known guests including Kate Moss, Greece and Denmark’s Princess Maria-Olympia and even well-known British royals Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice.
Looks like this new royal baby will have friends in very high places!
Alessandra has seen a hugely successful career, formerly working as a lawyer and model before launching her own fashion label Moi & Sass.
She and Christian met in 2005 when she served as his tour guide in Peru (perhaps a sweet connection to their Peruvian wedding celebration?).
That said, it took them six years after their first meeting before they began dating.
Now, it seems like the pair are about to embark on their most exciting chapter yet – congratulations to them both!
