Prince Harry and Joss Stone have joined forces in the lead up to his Sentebale charity concert at Kensington Palace this Tuesday.
The 31-year-old was left blushing after Joss beckoned him to sing in front of the Basotho Youth Choir, who were rehearsing for the concert with the singer’s help.
Watch Joss and the choir impress Harry with their singing below. Post continues.
As the choir began singing, the soulful singer called out, “There’s your note Harry.”
A flushed Harry responded, “It’s not happening.”
In among the choir was a dear old friend of Harry’s, Relebohile “Mutsu” Potsane, whom he actually met 12 years ago when he was just a teen.
Harry struck up a friendship with then four-year-old Mutsu while visiting the South African country Lesotho during his gap year.
Their reunion was extra special as it’s 16-year-old Mutsu’s first time visiting London, where he hopes to study medicine next year.
See why Joss Stone is such good friends with Prince Harry and William in the clip below. Post continues.
As he watched Mutsu and the choir practise their song, Harry said, “Are you excited about tomorrow night? Lots of people, you’ll be fine. I’m probably more nervous than you are. If you want to start freestyling, nobody is going to stop you.”
Joss then said, “You have to lead by example Harry,” to which he replied, “I learned years ago that I can’t sing.”
