He has been by the Queen’s side since their marriage in 1947 – 67 years ago.

Looking back over the photos from Philip’s near century, he is so often making someone laugh, especially Her Royal Highness.

Philip served in the Royal Navy and completed wartime service, being awarded the Greek War Cross of Valour.
