Kate showed off a healthy-looking bump, though a very small one, when she stepped out with Prince William to attend the unveiling of her first official portrait by artist Paul Emsley at London’s National Portrait Gallery.

Wearing an elegant burgundy dress, Kate was radiant at the event, with a glowing complexion and flushed cheeks, showing no signs of the severe morning sickness that led to her hospitalisation last month.

The Duchess had a healthy glow and appeared fuller in the face at the event.

Kate gave the much-criticised portrait her royal seal of approval.

Catherine and William thanked the artist and are said to be ‘thrilled’ with the result.

The portrait was revealed to a private audience that included the royal couple.
