Prince William and Duchess Catherine have given the world their very first glimpse of their third child, a darling baby boy.

On Monday, April 23rd, the Duke and the Duchess of Cambridge took to the stairs of the Lindo Wing at St Mary’s Hospital in Paddington, London to officially introduce the world to their third child.

The couple’s short-lived appearance came just seven hours after the birth of their precious new bundle of joy.

In scenes reminiscent of Prince George and Princess Charlotte’s birth only a few years prior, the proud new parents of three lovingly cradled their newborn while the global media watched on.

Despite having just given birth, Duchess Catherine looked flawless in a red dress with a white collar (strikingly similar to the dress Princess Diana wore after giving birth to Prince Harry) by Jenny Packham. Her go-to stylist, Natasha Archer, was presumably behind the ensemble as she was spotted leaving the prestigious hospital just one hour before the royal gave birth.

Kate’s post-birth look was incredibly reminiscent of the ensemble worn by Princess Diana after the birth of Prince Harry.

The beloved royal pulled the look together with a pair of nude pumps (yep, just hours after birth!), her trademark blow-dry and natural makeup.

Meanwhile, the new royal baby was swaddled in a cream blanket and matching knitted hat — both of which will no doubt sell out in a matter of minutes once the designer is revealed. He appeared calm as he was presented to the waiting media and crowds of well-wishers who had gathered outside the hospital to catch a glimpse of the historic moment.

On Monday, April 23rd, the Duke and the Duchess of Cambridge took to the stairs of the Lindo Wing at St Mary’s Hospital in Paddington, London to officially introduce the world to their third child… a baby boy.

The new parents absolutely beamed as they showed off their new arrival.

Kate held onto her precious bundle tightly as she waved toward waiting media and a deluge of well-wishers.

The royal couple then disappeared into the hospital where they quickly transferred the world’s tiniest royal into a car seat. They then reemerged and walked toward a waiting vehicle before making their way back to their home at Kensington Palace.

William, 35, said the couple was “very happy, delighted” as he fit the baby carrier into the car.

Holding up three fingers, he said, “thrice worry now,” adding, “We didn’t keep you waiting too long.”

And when asked about the name he said, “You’ll find out soon enough.”

The new-mum-of-three was sure to keep her youngest bundled warmly, even stopping to adjust his swaddle from time to time.

There he is! The royal couple are expected to announce the new arrival’s name imminently.

Kate, 36, and Wills, 35, were happy to pose for photographs with their little one but politely declined to answer any questions.

After disappearing into the hospital once again for a few minutes, the royal couple emerged with the new royal baby strapped safely into a car seat ready for the short journey home.

Earlier in the day, Prince George and Princess Charlotte were spotted as they dropped by the hospital to meet their new little sibling for the very first time and check-in on their mummy.

Big brother George appeared somewhat overwhelmed by the crowds and chose to stay close to his dad. The four-year-old was dressed in his school uniform made up of a navy V-neck jumper, a blue shirt, knee-length shorts and shiny black shoes.

Meanwhile, Charlotte — who will turn three next month — appeared confident as she trotted toward the hospital even stopping to glance back and wave at the enthusiastic crowds of well-wishers who gathered outside the hospital, anxiously awaiting a glimpse at the newborn.

She was princess perfection in a blue floral dress, navy cardigan and perfectly-coordinated leather buckle shoes.
