As the #GreatKateWait continues another day, royal baby watchers got a case of false labour pains after they were tricked into thinking Kate Middleton had arrived for the delivery. But, unfortunately for those of us on high alert, it wasn’t Kate herself – although you could be forgiven for thinking it was.
Kate and Wills impersonators, Heidi Agan and Simon Watkinson, turned up outside the Lindo Wing to a flurry of excited royal loyals. Complete with fake baby bump, and a Kate-style dress, the counterfeit couple posed for pictures, took selfies with fans and even fooled a few foreign reporters. “Kate” was also seen toting a brand new baby, which looked to us more like a burrito.
So, while we readjust our #RoyalBabyWatch radars and come to terms with our own crushing disappointment, take a look at our favourite (fake) Kate and Wills moments.

But some were. Heidi and Simon – oops, we mean “Kate and Will” posed for some selfies. Image via @telegraph.
