He might be little, but for the likes of our newest royal baby Archie, meeting one of televisions biggest names is all in a days work.
In a reveal that’s sent her fans wild, none other than Ellen DeGeneres has revealed she’s met Duchess Meghan and Prince Harry’s new bundle of joy, and she’s provided us with some golden traits he adorably possesses.
Chatting on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, the 61-year-old opened up about the experience, telling her spellbound audience that she got to cuddle and feed the little royal cherub.
“I got to hold Archie. I fed Archie. I knew how to hold him. He weighs 15 pounds,” she revealed, before comically adding: “Which is the exchange rate of $17 here.”
Ellen then added that the four-month old “looks just like Harry. And he had more hair than I did at the time.”
Ellen said she didn’t take any photos to share of the small baby because she “didn’t think it was right to”.
That being said, she did draw a picture of the baby.
“He has a body but I just did the face for y’all, he actually has a perfectly circular head,” she quipped.
Ellen described her encounter with baby Archie in detail.
(The Ellen DeGeneres Show)The television host, who is known for her social and charity efforts, also couldn’t have spoken more highly of Meghan and Harry, whose work she was incredibly impressed with.
“Seriously, they are so amazing. They’re the cutest couple, so down to earth,” she said.
She then explained how much she disliked the negativity surrounding them in the press.
“I just hate it, I see them get attacked and it’s not fair. They’re just two of the most down to earth, compassionate people, they are doing so much good in the world.”
Ellen is a big fan of Meghan and Harry.
(Getty)Ellen also teased a possible collaboration between herself and the royal duo, discussing their work they’re doing in Botswana for elephants, stating that they’re “all going to do something together”.
This isn’t the first time of late Ellen has spoken publicly about her affection for Meghan and Harry.
In August, the TV host spoke out in response to negative reports surrounding the pair’s choice to fly to France via a private jet.
“Portia and I met Prince Harry and Meghan to talk about their work on wildlife conservation,” she wrote.
“They were the the most down-to-earth, compassionate people. Imagine being attacked for everything you do, when all you’re trying to do is make the world better.”
Ellen is one of many people who have met baby Archie and provided the world some rare insights into his appearance.
In August, a source told PEOPLE that Archie has “tufts of reddish hair” – just like his dad!
The same source also revealed that he had “lovely, puffy little legs”.
With that and a perfectly circular head, this baby sounds like a real little angel!
