Despite bookies’ bets the charismatic royal will be playing the dual role of godfather and uncle, according to People Magazine it looks like Harry will be ticking the “not attending” box for the intimate ceremony, which is taking place on July 5th.
Sadly Harry also missed Charlotte’s birth on May 2nd as he was spending time in Australia on a secondment with the arm.
Clearly dedicated to his sense of duty, it’s believed Harry is now slated to begin a three-month visit of Africa where he will pursues conservation work.

No doubt saying goodbye to the army will be hard for Harry but the fifth-in-line to the throne is eager for his next chapter and to work with animal conservation.
“For me, it’s three months of hard grafting, working with animals,” he explained to The Sun.
“To actually get the chance to embed myself with the top vet in southern Africa, travel with him for three weeks and every job he gets called up to do. That’s like my dream.”
While Prince George (pictured) was christened at St James’s Palace in London, Charlotte will be baptised at St Mary Magdalene Church on the Queen’s Sandringham Estate.
It is believed that Charlotte’s christening will coincide with Harry’s time in Africa.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will welcome close family and friends to celebrate their darling daughter on July 5th at St. Mary Magdalene Church on the Queen’s Sandringham estate.
The church is dear to William’s heart as it where his mother, Princess Diana, was christened.
Although he might have to skip the big day, we’re sure Uncle Harry will bring home some delightful gifts for his doting niece and nephew.
