Duchess Catherine has revealed that she wants Prince George and Princess Charlotte to join the Scouts and Rainbows when they’re old enough.
The Duchess is passionate about providing the royal babies with a life as normal as possible, and wants them to be able to socialise with children their own ages.
She shared this news in North Wales on Friday, as she and William met with people during their day of royal engagements and appearances.
In Caernarfon, The Duchess, who has been one of the Scouts flexible volunteers since 2013, met with members of 10th Bangor Scouts group, telling Scout guides Cadi Evans, 12, and Molly Swann, 17, that she “really enjoyed” helping out with the Scouts.
In fact, The Duchess enjoyed her time with the Scouts so much that she told Jill Wilkinson, Caernarfon’s county commissioner, that she would sign Prince George and Princess Charlotte up when they were old enough!
“She said that she needs to put Charlotte’s name down for Rainbows,” Jill shared.
“She really enjoyed helping with the scout group and said she will get George for scouting.”
Catherine has described her own childhood as “safe and secure” and wants to provide the same life and normalcy for her own royal tots, despite raising them in the public eye.
