A very pregnant Duchess Catherine has helped celebrate the 105th birthday of London hotel ‘The Goring’ where she spent her last time as a single woman before officially becoming a royal.
The Duchess looked glowing as she stepped out to the London landmark, where she famously spent the night before her wedding to Prince William in 2011.
Catherine was seen wearing a stunning purple floral dress by British label Erdem as she left The Goring after the Hotel’s celebratory birthday lunch.
Not part of her official schedule, Catherine attended the event in a private capacity, having received a personal invitation from the hotel, which no doubt holds a special place in her heart as the last place she stayed as a “commoner” before officially becoming a royal.
It was upon leaving the hotel to head to Westminster Abbey that Kate famously first gave the world a glimpse of her stunning Alexander McQueen wedding gown.
Catherine’s parents Michael and Carole Middleton and siblings James and Pippa were photographed leaving the London hotel after they stayed there with her prior to the wedding.
The whole family stayed in the five bedroom royal apartments of the hotel, located in the posh London suburb of Belgravia.

Just as before her wedding, Catherine was left to enjoy her visit to the hotel solo as her husband Prince William is currently touring Japan and China on his own.
