As Duchess Catherine steps out for one of her last appearances prior to the birth of her second child, she reveals she sometimes forgets she’s pregnant and chases Prince George!
Duchess Catherine, who is expected to give birth in April, revealed she has a royal case of baby brain, sometimes forgetting she is pregnant!
The royal has made one of her final public appearances at the Turner Contemporary Art Museum and Resort Studios in England, where she said she has her hands full now that Prince George is walking.
Catherine, who is rumoured to be having a girl, looked radiant as she wore a Dalmatian print coat by Hobbs.
The fashionable royal recycled the outfit from her last engagement before she went on maternity leave when expecting Prince George.
It would appear the young Prince is helping his mum forget that she is indeed pregnant, with the Duchess explaining to architect Tamsin Landells and her husband Tim Ratliff that her cheeky 19-month-old son, makes her “chase after him” as he runs around!
During her visit to the studio, the Duchess spoke to many well-wishers including Margate resident Jenny Cranstone. Jenny told the royal mum that she looked “very trim!” to which Catherine responded “I sometimes forget I’m pregnant.”
The duchess was in good company with Jenny.
“I had five children, and I know how good she looks. We both had a good laugh.” The Margate local shared.
Prince George wasn’t the only boy on Catherine’s mind. Upon meeting artist Gavin Turk, she couldn’t help but notice his impressive beard, and the striking resemblance it strikes with her brother, James Middleton!
“She immediately asked me about my beard and said that she was a bit concerned as her brother [James Middleton] was growing one,” Turk said.
“She asked me how much care I needed to take of it and whether I had to oil it. She seemed quite fascinated. She was really nice, very personable, particularly under the circumstances.”
