Meghan Markle will host her hen do at a mystery five star spa resort, where her and a select group of her closest friends will enjoy a day of pampering.
The former Suits star’s wedding to Prince Harry, which will take place on 19th May at St George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle, has already been flagged as a major security operation.
So it’s unsurprising that the location of Meghan’s pre-bridal celebrations is being kept tightly under wraps at this stage, allowing the royal-to-be and her friends to relax away from the attention of the world’s media.
Last month, Meghan alluded to her hen do arrangements when chatting with well-wishers gathered at Edinburgh Castle for her first official visit to Scotland, revealing that the party “is sorted but it will be fun”.
It’s thought that the select guest list will feature some of Meghan’s closest friends.
They include former Made In Chelsea star Millie Mackintosh – who has previously holidayed with Meghan at Soho Farmhouse in the Cotswolds, and has recently been touted as a potential bridesmaid.
Fashion designer Misha Nonoo whose ‘husband’ shirt was worn by Meghan on her first official appearance with Harry at the Invictus Games in Toronto last year.
And Violet von Westenholz, a fashion PR for Ralph Lauren and childhood friend of Prince Harry, who is widely assumed to be the mystery matchmaker who set up the royal couple on their first blind date.
Will Duchess Kate and Meghan’s mum be at her Hen’s Party?
Sadly, the two of the names we’d assumed would be top of the party guestlist will not be in attendance: Meghan’s mother Doria Radlan and her future sister-in-law, the Duchess of Cambridge.
It’s thought that Doria, who was previously reported to be walking Meghan down the aisle on her wedding day, was unable to fly over from her Los Angeles home.
Meanwhile Kate, who is currently in her seventh month of pregnancy while expecting her third child, was reportedly keen to attend the celebrations but needed to recuperate after a packed week of royal engagements.
And now, the question on everyone’s lips: what about Harry’s stag do?
