Soccer star and father-of-four David Beckham has given his friends, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge some parental advice – get some sleep before baby number two arrives.
Speaking on ITV show Lorraine, David said sleep makes a huge difference when caring for more than one child.
“Get some sleep because jumping from one child to two is a big step – even though I thought jumping from two to three was bigger,” he said.
The 39-year-old, who attended the wedding of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge in 2011 and has worked on a wildlife campaign with William, said he was excited for the couple.
“I’m so happy for them both because they’re such great parents and obviously to be great parents and to have the roles that they have, as important as they have, is really incredible.
“I’m just happy they’re going to have another little one running around the house!”
