It seems like only yesterday Crown Princess Mary and Crown Prince Frederik welcomed their twins, Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine.
But in the blink of an eye, they’re already 10-years-old and taking after their parents in many different ways – their latest appearance has proved as much.
Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, the Danish royal palace shared a new clip of both Vincent and Josephine going for a run with their dad, Prince Frederik in the snow.
The snippet came alongside an announcement about the Royal Run, which takes place annually and is usually held around May.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the run will be postponed to September this year, with a specific date yet to be finalised.
Despite the slightly frustrating news, Crown Prince Frederik still urged the people of Denmark to maintain “the joy of exercise and running”.
The Danish royals reiterated the joy that can be found in running.
(Instagram)In the clip, Fred is seen with his two youngest children with the caption explaining: “Running was also on the program when the Crown Prince, together with his two youngest children, Their Royal Highnesses Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine, this weekend went out in the winter weather.”
Fred and his kids laugh and run about in between scenes – and it’s a sight to behold. There’s no denying Josephine is looking more and more like her mum, Princess Mary every day.
And as for Prince Vincent – that’s definitely a bit of Fred we see!

(Instagram)The tight-knit family have been sharing some sweet insights into their lives in lockdown as the COVID-19 pandemic continues.
Last week, the Scandinavian country’s beloved handball team competed in the world championships.
The team went on to win, so to celebrate it, the Palace shared some rare personal snaps from inside the family home as the children joined in the excitement.
The twins were also front and centre of the spotlight a few weeks ago when they celebrated their 10th birthday.
To mark the occassion, the Palace shared a beautiful set of images of the pair looking all grown up.
“The twins were born today 10 years ago at Rigshospitalet in Copenhagen, 26 minutes apart,” the Palace wrote on January 8.
“On the occasion of the birthday, the Crown Prince and Crown Princess have the pleasure of sharing new pictures of the Prince and Princess.”
