Duchess Catherine is a huge fan of taking on the role of official royal family photographer.
In celebration of Princess Charlotte starting nursery school Kate’s showed off her impressive skills behind the camera yet again by snapping her little girl’s milestone moment.
In the pics, Princess Charlotte beams with confidence on the steps of her Kensington Palace home.
The tiny tot looks stylish rocking a retro red overcoat by Amaia Kids, a pony print backpack by Cath Kidston, grey stockings, red leather buckle-up shoes, a pink scarf and a red bow in her shiny brunette locks.
Alongside the album, the palace explained in a statement: “The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to share two photographs of Princess Charlotte at Kensington Palace this morning.”
“The images were taken by The Duchess shortly before Princess Charlotte left for her first day of nursery at the Willcocks Nursery School.”
And it’s not the first time the art history graduate has stepped behind the lens.
Catherine photographed a stunning series of images which showed a proud Prince George cradling his baby sister just weeks after her birth and back in May 2015.
Kate yet again played shutterbug for Charlotte’s first and second birthday portraits.
And it looks like Catherine’s love of the camera comes from her father, Michael Middleton.
Steering away from professional photographers, the 36-year-old asked her dad to take her family’s first official portrait with a newborn Prince George back in August 2013.
Using his humble “point and shoot”, the besotted granddad captured a sleeping George in his mum’s arms with William by their side.
Breaking from tradition, the photo was set in the Middletons’ sun-soaked back garden in Berkshire, along with the family pets Lupo and Tilly – making for a refreshingly normal look into the lives of the modern day royals.
According to her official profile page on the British Monarchy website, the mother-of-two has quite an eye for getting the perfect shot.
“The Duchess’s enthusiasm for photography saw her taking photographs as part of her role during her time working within Party Pieces, a family company owned and run by her parents,” it explained. While adding she also loves painting.
