They’ve just welcomed a new baby, so it’s not surprising the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have also hired some new live-in help.
William and Kate moved new housekeeper Sadie Rice into Amner Hall, their country home on the Queen’s Sandringham estate, earlier this month.
The 33-year-old – dubbed “Mary Poppins” by Us Weekly – is believed to have been poached from her previous position in the household of Norway’s Crown Prince Haakon, his wife Crown Princess Mette-Marit and their three children.
Ms Rice’s new duties will include running the house, preparing and cooking meals, taking care of the royal wardrobes, cleaning glassware, polishing silver, looking after the family dog Lupo and helping royal nanny Maria with Prince George and Princess Charlotte.
William and Kate advertised for a housekeeper in early March but are believed to have struggled to find the right candidate until now.
