King Charles III, Princess Anne, Prince Andrew and Prince Edward walked solemnly behind the Queen’s coffin at the late monarch’s funeral today.
Heir apparent Prince William and his brother Prince Harry also joined the procession, as did the Queen’s other grandson Peter Philips.
As they entered Westminster Abbey, the royals were joined by Camilla Queen Consort, Catherine, Duchess of Cornwall, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, as well as Meghan Markle and Sophie, Countess of Wessex for the procession.
At 11am (British Standard Time) this morning, heads of state, royal families from around the world and A-list celebrities were among the thousands of mourners to file into Westminster Abbey to pay their respects to Queen Elizabeth II.
It was the first funeral for a monarch in the Abbey since the 18th century, with the venue holding great historical significance as it is where the Queen married Prince Phillip.
Despite the hundreds of dignitaries in attendance, it was all eyes on the Queen’s four children, who trailed behind the late monarch’s casket.
