If you’re feeling a little tired this Monday morning – perhaps wishing the weekend could last just one day longer – spare a thought for the royal family, who have just knocked out multiple joint engagements together within the space of a few days… and without a hair out of place.
As the annual commemorations for Remembrance Day rolled around in November, there was no denying it was going to be a busy few days for the royals.
Indeed Duchesses Catherine, Meghan and Her Majesty herself have led the royal-clad charge during some very poignant weekend events, and they’ve paid their respects many beautiful ways.
On Saturday evening, the royals donned their glad rags as they stepped out to attend the Festival of Remembrance at the Royal Albert Hall in London.
Meghan was utterly radiant as she arrived at the glitzy event with Prince Harry on her arm. She opted for a beautiful black jacquard dress, believed to be a bespoke creation by Erdem and featuring a wide neckline with a button collar.
Pulling her hair into a slick up-do, Meghan couldn’t have looked more chic for the event.
Duchess Catherine was next to arrive alongside her husband Prince William.
Again, Kate knocked it out of the park when it came to glamour, opting for a chic navy dress by UFO, which featured a wide boat neck and a form-fitting midi-silhouette.
But it was what was on the Duchess’ head that really got us ogling – she wore a beautiful black sparkly headband from affordable High Street brand Zara!
Other royals in attendance included Sophie, Countess of Wessex, who looked glamorous in a chic black fur coat.
Duchess Camilla and Princess Anne also nailed evening glamour in their black ensembles, and of course, Her Majesty The Queen herself was also looking beautiful in the dark hue.
Royals attend Remembrance Sunday service
While the events of Saturday night would have been sure to tire anyone out, the royals were back in action the following day as they together attended the annual Remembrance Sunday Service at the Cenotaph in Whitehall, Central London.
Again, we saw most of the royal family in attendance, including Duchess Catherine, who wore a smart military-inspired black coat along with a matching hat which featured gorgeous net detailing.
The royal paid her respects to fallen servicemen and servicewomen alongside the Queen and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall – with the royal trio sharing a balcony together.
Meghan Markle was also seen at the sombre service, looking completely chic in a black coat and black brimmed hat.
Keeping her makeup minimal and with her hair pulled back under the hat, the beautiful Duchess was the image of regal perfection.
Meghan shared a balcony alongside Sophie, Countess of Wessex as they watched the service take place.
During the event, the male royals laid wreaths at the Cenotaph, lead by Prince Charles who did so on behalf of the Queen.
Harry, William and Prince Andrew also followed suit.
There’s no denying it was a moving day for the royals..
