Now that Duchess Meghan is officially on maternity leave, everyone is waiting with baited breath for the arrival of Baby Sussex.
And while there’s been plenty of speculation, this recent move from an online gambling company has people convinced about what gender Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan’s baby will be.
Betfair have revealed that the odds on the Duke and Duchess of Sussex having a baby girl have been slashed from 10/11 to 1/2.
“Following a significant bet this afternoon we’ve slashed the odds of the royal baby being a girl from 10/11 to 1/2 , with a boy now out to 6/4,” said Betfair Spokesperson Katie Baylis.
“This bet is one of the biggest we’ve seen on the royal baby markets this year so could be a big clue that we will have a new Princess in the coming weeks.”

Back in January, UK bookmaker Paddy Power Betfair even suspended betting on the gender of the royal baby due to the overwhelming number of bets being placed on the bub being a girl. And that wasn’t the only clue.
Prince Harry himself even admitted that he hoped his firstborn would be a daughter after a sweet moment was captured at the Invictus Games in Sydney.
While attending a cycling event in the city’s Botanic Gardens, a spectator in the crowd called out to the Duke of Sussex: “Congratulations, I hope it’s a girl!” to which he replied “So do I!”
As for baby names, sitting at top spot with 6.00 remains Diana, though we doubt they’ll go down that path.

At his most recent royal engagement, Prince Harry flew solo as he met with children from St Vincent’s Catholic Primary School in Acton to take part in a tree planting in support of The Queen’s Commonwealth Canopy.
According to HELLO!, one child asked him where Meghan was, to which the red-headed royal responded by miming a baby bump with his hand, and telling them she was having a baby.
Duchess Meghan has been involved with public royal engagements throughout her pregnancy but after her final appearance alongside Prince Harry at New Zealand House, reports say that Meghan is officially on maternity leave.
A teaching assistant also gave more insight into Harry’s way with the kiddies saying, “One of them tapped him and said, ‘When is Prince Harry coming?’ and Harry responded by saying: ‘I’m the real Harry. I’ve just had my hair cut for the occasion.”
