Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank’s wedding happened a year ago, and likely none are more surprised by how time has flown than the loved-up couple themselves.
Taking to her Instagram account on October 12, a year to the day since the royal and her beau tied the knot, Eugenie shared an intimate video clip featuring some stunning behind the scenes moments from her special day.
And while the wedding in itself was stunning enough to watch as it was broadcast globally, this special little video has given us an extra insight into just how serene it really was.
As she shared the video to her Instagram, Eugenie wrote a sweet caption: “This was the greatest day of my life…forever and always! Happy one year anniversary, my Jack!!”
Featuring a series of clips of the pair’s special day unfolding, viewers are treated to a number of up-close views of Eugenie’s gorgeous wedding dress, which was designed by Peter Pilotto and Christopher De Vos.
The clip also includes a number of sweet moments shared between both Jack and Eugenie, and their wedding party.
Eugenie’s stunning demure makeup look for the big day is also showcased close-up – the video shows her smoky eye and lightly blushed cheeks in all their glory as the Princess smiles and laughs whilst she gets ready.
Another glorious moment in the clip comes as we catch a sight of the Princess’s incredible (and very regal) headpiece, the Greville Emerald Kokoshnik Tiara.
The gorgeous design is made of brilliant rose cut diamonds set in platinum, with six emeralds on either side, and was loaned to her from her grandmother, the Queen.
Eugenie and Jack appear to have roared through their first year of marriage in post-wedding bliss.
Just last week, we were provided an incredible insight into the home they share in Kensington Palace in a comedic new clip featuring Prince Harry and Ed Sheeran.
The video, which was released for World Mental Health Day, showed Ed Sheeran visiting Harry at the cosy residence known as Ivy Cottage,
Ringing the door bell, the familiar tones of God Save The Queen ring out (a cute touch!) and as Harry opens the door, royal fans were thrilled to see a stunning black and white portrait from Eugenie and Jack’s carriage ride perched proudly on a wall in the entrance way.
Inside, it’s possible to make out a cosy-looking couch featuring orange cushions, and a couple of shelves holding mugs and other utensils.
Looks like Eugenie and Jack have settled into married life with quite the homely abode.
Congratulations to them both!
