It was the second royal wedding of the year, but it no means was any less important or spectacular.
Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank wed in a lavish ceremony at Windsor Castle, the same venue Prince Harry and Meghan Markle had married earlier this year.
It was hard not to feel a part of their very special day, with telecasts airing the entire event, but it was when the cameras were turned off that the real party began and Princess Eugenie and Jack celebrated with not one but three seperate wedding parties.
Here, we take you inside each one.

The Lunch Reception
Straight after the ceremony, 850 guests attended a reception inside Windsor Castle’s St George’s hall.
The stand-up reception took place in the Waterloo Chamber, the Grand Reception Room and St. George’s Hall in Windsor Castle.
They enjoyed finger food, Pol Roger Champagne and of course, the couple’s lavish wedding cake which was made by London-based cake designer Sophie Cabot, and was a red velvet and chocolate blend inspired by the rich colours of autumn.
While it is severely frowned upon by the royals to share photos of inside these personal and intimate affairs, that didn’t stop the A-List line up from giving us a glimpse into the reception.
One guest shared an image of Eugenie and Jack in front of their five-tier red velvet and chocolate wedding cake, while designer Stella McCartney added a picture of Demi Moore “inside the castle”.
Superstar Robbie Williams and wife Ayda Field, whose daughter Theodora was part of the bridal party, shared a gorgeous picture on Instagram from inside the festivities.
“Love is in the air with this one,” she captioned the pic.
It was also during this reception that Prince Andrew welcomed his now son-in-law into the family – with a very public ribbing.
Of course, he began the day by walking his youngest daughter down the aisle – which he confessed was a “very small role” to a British TV outlet.
” I haven’t been the father of a bride so I don’t know what to expect, but I’m looking forward to it,” he said. “I’ll have to walk on the left of the carpet to make sure that she can get enough room. That’s a lesson I got from my wedding. My father-in-law walked down the middle so Sarah said ‘Get over to the other side.'”
A source for Town and Country told the media outlet: “The one thing that made me cry was the Duke,” the guest said, “when he said he was going to do something he’s never done before; he went over to his new son-in-law and hugged him. He isn’t a very tactile person.”
According to reports, Prince Andrew told an anecdote about how Jack once mistook himself for the family dog.
The Duke of York had once shouted at the family dog, also called Jack, to get off a chair, however, human Jack jumped up startled! HA!
Later in the speech, the Duke then said: “I’m going to do something I’ve never done before” and turned and hugged his son-in-law.
According to the Daily Mail, the groom’s old headmaster Anthony Wallersteiner, “It was the high point for everyone.”
Jack also gave a very modern but short speech that was “filled with devotion to Eugenie”, the headmaster said.
‘That was most of his speech,’ he said. ‘The first thing he said was that his bride looked utterly stunning.
“He talked about how she lights up his life and makes him feel complete.” he added. “There was a real sense that he absolutely means it. It was so touching.”

Inside the evening reception
The evening reception, which was held in the Royal Lodge Windsor, was also a glamorous affair with Princess Eugenie wearing Zac Posen.
An official Instagram post by the Duke of York was captioned:
“Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank are pictured at Royal Lodge, Windsor ahead of the private dinner, following their Wedding.
“Princess Eugenie’s evening dress was designed by Zac Posen, who was inspired by the beauty of Windsor and the surrounding countryside. The White Rose of York is subtly embroidered on both the shoulder and back which hold together the cape.
“Princess Eugenie is wearing diamond and emerald drop earrings which were a Wedding gift from the Groom. Princess Eugenie also wears a hair slide belonging to Her Majesty The Queen.”
The colour of the gown reflects that of a blush English rose, and inspiration was taken from the White Rose of York, which was subtlety embroidered on both the shoulder and back of the dress.
Mother-of-the-bride Sarah “Fergie” Ferguson looked divine in a olive green dress, with a photo snapped by her long-time hairdresser Patrick Lernerberger and below, Ayda Field delivered the goods once again with a spectacular photo of her and Robbie.
Horse breeder Charlie Hanbury and his wife Yoanna shared a picture from inside the evening, as did Cleo Von Adelsheim.
The party was fairground themed complete with dodgems, a coconut shy and celebrations that went well into the evening.

Inside the fairground themed third party
Why have one when you can have three?
For the third and final party of the royal wedding festivities, guests were treated to fairground theme in the grounds of the residence at Royal Lodge Windsor.
Guests, who once again broke the social media ban, let us inside the epic day of fun and frivolity including incredible outfits, a carousel and a gorgeous setting of ivy, florals and fair-themed games.
One guest, Tamara Beckwith, thanked Fergie for such an incredible event.
“I mean… #thankyou @sarahferguson15 for having no boundaries when it comes to letting your incredible imagination run riot… What a glorious tent for us all to share love in. Lucky girls having you as a muma.”
Ayda Field shared another gorgeous pic of her and Robbie, this time ready for the fairground theme.
Actress Cleo Van Adelsheim gave a better glimpse of the festivities on her Insta story as did Irene Forte.
We can imagine Duchess Fergie is having another massive sigh of relief today as the festivities have concluded.
In case you missed it, here’s the sigh she took from after Princess Eugenie said “I Do” – and this is why we love her!
