It might not be an event officially celebrated by the British but this year, Princess Eugenie is wholeheartedly embracing the American holiday of Thanksgiving.
The 30-year-old, who is expecting her first child with husband Jack Brooksbank in early 2021, took to her Instagram to share a heartfelt message revealing all that she is thankful for this year.
And royal watchers were delighted to be given a glimpse of her growing belly in one snap, which shows Eugenie and her husband Jack helping with volunteers to hand out food in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic.
In the snap, the mother-to-be cuts a casual figure in a chequered shirt, a navy overcoat, black jeans and a protective face mask as her growing belly takes centre stage.
“I’m thankful to all the front liners this year for your incredible dedication and perseverance,” the royal explained in her post.
“I’m thankful for all the companies and charities who donated as much as possible to those in need.”
She continued: “I’m thankful for my husband Jack.”
“I’m thankful for the love of family and animals that keep us strong. And I’m thankful for nature and all it gives us – a constant in 2020 when things have been so uncertain.”
“Happy Thanksgiving to all those celebrating it today.”
Eugenie’s post was accompanied with a collection of never-before-seen photos, including a sweet selfie with Jack and a photo of one of the family terriers.
As the royal couple countdown to welcome their first child in 2021, they’ve recently relocated to a larger home – moving into Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan’s former headquarters, Frogmore Cottage in Windsor.
According to a new report from HELLO!, removal vans were spotted at Windsor Castle, namely outside the Queen’s Berkshire residence.
The report adds this removal company has been contracted to the royals since 1988.
It’s an exciting move for the pair, who married back in 2018 and announced they were expecting back in September.
Since then, we’ve seen Eugenie go about her usual engagements, however it’s likely she’ll step back in the coming months as she commences her maternity leave.
Harry and Meghan are currently living in the US as they settle into their lives outside of their former senior royal roles.
And while they technically still own Frogmore back in Windsor, the first home they moved to as they welcomed their baby son Archie, a source confirmed to HELLO! they were happy to open it up to the soon-to-be parents.
“They are delighted to be able to open up their home to Princess Eugenie and Jack as they start their own family,” the source revealed.
The cottage, which has sat on the Windsor Castle estate for many years, underwent significant renovations ahead of Harry and Meghan’s move there between 2018 and 2019.
