Princess Eugenie is heavily pregnant, and reportedly due in less than a month’s time – but she’s still made time for a very special appearance.
In a screenshot posted to Twitter, fans were thrilled to catch a glimpse of the royal, who is no doubt preparing to wrap up all of her official work and begin her maternity leave.
In the screen shot, Eugenie is seen partaking in a video call as part of her work with her co-founded charity, The Anti-Slavery Collective.
She and fellow founder Julia de Boinville joined Goals House from their respective lounges, where they spoke about combating modern day slavery.
In Eugenie’s corner, she smiles widely. Wearing a printed headband and simple black tee, the real standout of the frame is how glowy the royal looks.
Yep, you can’t deny that mum-to-be glow!
Eugenie’s work with Goals House is apt given her profile – the organisation works to bring together some of the world’s most influential people in a bid to help achieve sustainable development goals.
According to HELLO!, Eugenie joined the call from Frogmore Cottage – Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan’s home in Windsor.
It is understood Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank have been residing there as they prepare to welcome their first child.
Their place of stay suggests Eugenie and Jack will be keeping the birth of their new child very private – the cottage proved a refuge for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex when they welcomed their own child, Archie, back in 2019.
They remained there throughout most of the year, continuing to keep a low profile and ensuring Archie remained out of the public gaze.
Perhaps Eugenie and Jack have the same idea – this is their first child, and as royals free from many constraints that dictate the likes of Duchess Catherine and William’s public presence, it would be understandable should the new parents wish to keep things under wraps.
That said, it looks like Eugenie is still all-go with her own work – leading up to Christmas, she was also spotted taking part in various charitable initiatives both through her own Anti-Slavery Collective, as well as other social causes.
But of course, it’s to be expected that things will begin to slow down for the royal now.
While her maternity leave’s length is not known, we’re sure she’ll be taking plenty of time to settle into her life as a new mum alongside her husband.
What an exciting year she has ahead.
