While the royals celebrated Easter Sunday at St George’s Chapel in Windsor, there was one royal who was noticeably absent from the proceedings – and it could be for a very interesting reason!
Indeed Princess Eugenie did not attend the traditional service along with her family on Easter Sunday, instead attending a service with the Queen earlier in the week.
And her unexpected choice has got tongues wagging for a surprising reason…
The newlywed Princess, who tied to the knot to her hubby Jack Brooksbank back in October 2018, made the surprise appearance with the Queen last Thursday as they handed out Maundy coins as part of a royal Easter tradition.
But it wasn’t the event as much as it was what she wore that really got people talking…
Onlookers at St George’s Chapel – where 29-year-old Eugenie married Jack – were quick to notice that underneath her floral Erdem frock, the princess had what looked like a baby bump.
Royal watchers seem to think so, too. Earlier this month, UK betting outlet Ladbrokes slashed her odds of being pregnant to 1/4.
A spokeperson told UK media outlet, The Sun: “It looks like the royals are getting broody.
“With Meghan’s first on the way and Kate’s odds of baby number four continuing to tumble, we’ve once again cut odds on Eugenie announcing a pregnancy.”

The exciting development comes as the world welcomes Duchess Meghan and Prince Harry’s first child.
Indeed Meghan announced her pregnancy just a few days following Princess Eugenie’s wedding – so it does seem like the two are somewhat aligned!
What’s more, Eugenie has been very reflective of late, taking to her Instagram account to share some candid throwback pictures to when she and older sister Beatrice were children themselves.
On Thursday, April 25, the Princess shared a gorgeous snap on Instagram of the two sisters as tots while they held penguins – a fitting tribute to World Penguin Day.
“#tbt to Bea and I with matching Penguins,” she wrote.
Too cute! And an exciting hint at what could be in the works for the sentimental Princess!
