Princess Eugenie will likely look back on her 30th birthday as one to remember, not least because of the way it was celebrated.
As the world goes into isolation in order to battle the COVID-19 pandemic, which accelerated in March, things like birthdays have fallen by the wayside as people are unable to gather in large groups.
But that doesn’t mean there aren’t other ways for the royal family to celebrate Eugenie’s special day.
In a number of sweet tributes, the royals have shared some beautiful images of the royal from over the past few years, and it would be safe to say she would have been feeling the love from near and afar as her family and friends celebrated.
Eugenie’s mum Sarah Ferguson’s tribute was one of our favourites – the red-headed royal shared a stunning never-before-seen image of Eugenie taken on her wedding day.
The fresh faced Princess is absolutely glowing in the picture as she prepares to wed husband Jack Brooksbank in her heavenly Peter Pilotto gown and Greville Emerald Kokoshnik tiara.

Sarah’s fans flooded the comments section with well wishes for the Princess as well.
One wrote: “Absolutely beautiful! 💓 Happy Birthday, Eugenie!”
While another added: “Happy Birthday 🎉 Hopefully you can have a lovely celebration with all your friends and family once this is all over 😘”
Meanwhile, the Queen herself also had a sweet tribute for her granddaughter.
Sharing a picture taken in 2019 of Eugenie and the Queen attending the Maundy Thursday service, the caption read: “Wishing Princess Eugenie a very Happy Birthday! 🎂🎈”
“Her Royal Highness is The Queen’s 6th grandchild. Today she turns 30. This was taken in 2019 when The Princess joined her grandmother at a Maundy Thursday Service at St George’s Chapel in Windsor.”
Eugenie herself also shared a message of thanks with fans after the outpouring of love.
Sharing several snaps to her own Instagram page, the Princess wrote, “Thank you for all the wonderful birthday messages. XX 💋”
In the candid pictures, Eugenie is seen in one with her parents, while in another the young Princess is seen hurling into an ice cream.
Guess that’s one way to mark a milestone birthday with the world – and one way to make everyone smile, despite current circumstances.
