Going public with a new partner is always a daunting prospect, especially if you’re in the public eye.
But for Princess Beatrice, she took it all in her stride as she made a glamorous red carpet debut with boyfriend Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi.
The loved-up duo dazzled as they arrived for the Portrait Gala at the National Portrait gallery in London on Tuesday evening.
This marks their first official outing as a couple and symbolises an important milestone in their relationship as it clearly indicates things are getting serious if she’s bringing him along to royal events!
They were previously spotted stepping out in a private capacity at the Third Annual Berggruen Prize Gala in New York in December.
Princess Beatrice, 30, cut a chic figure in a maroon-coloured velvet gown, which she teamed with a cinched-in belt, navy heels and natural, glowing make-up.
While her partner Edoardo, 34, opted for a classic tux.
The royal was first linked to the successful property developer last year and the romance is progressing so well that he’s reportedly already been introduced to Princess Beatrice’s parents, Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson.
Edoardo works as a property developer, and is reportedly a multi-millionaire owning a property consultancy company specialising in finding and developing multi-million pound homes.
He is also divorced and has one son, named Wolfie, who is two years old.
Beatrice was previously in a ten-year relationship with Dave Clarke before they parted ways in 2016.
Meanwhile, inside the event, the couple rubbed shoulders with Beatrice’s cousin-in-law Duchess Catherine, who is the patron of the National Portrait Gallery and the guest of honour for the evening.
