Princess Beatrice has taken the exciting next step in her blossoming relationship with millionaire Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi.
On Monday December 10th, The Queen’s granddaughter attended the Third Annual Berggruen Prize Gala in New York with Edoardo as her date.
This marks their first official public appearance together as a couple.
Princess Beatrice, 30, and Edoardo, 35, were not snapped together at the event but were seen sipping champagne and rubbing shoulders with fellow A-list guests including businesswoman Wendi Deng and supermodel Karlie Kloss.
For the event, Bea oozed elegance in a chic black maxi-dress and a fringed coat while her flowing honey-coloured locks were worn out.
The royal was first linked to the successful property developer a few months ago and the romance is progressing so well that he’s reportedly already been introduced to Princess Beatrice’s parents Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson.
In fact, there’s already whispers of an imminent proposal.
“Things are moving very quickly and it wouldn’t surprise anyone if they got engaged within a short period of time,” a source told The Sun.
Edoardo is divorced and has one son, named Wolfie, who is two years old.

Their romance hasn’t come without controversy, however.
As Woman’s Day recently reported, The Queen has banned Edoardo from the palace after it was revealed he was still living with his fiancee of three-and-a-half years Dara Huang when he and Beatrice began dating.
Beatrice and real estate mogul Edo met at Princess Eugenie’s wedding on October 12, and it’s said they hit if off instantly.
But insiders now claim Edo continued to live with the mother of his child for some time after the nuptials – and it’s not gone down well with Bea’s grandmother.

A royal insider explained, “The Queen’s furious about the revelations which have come out about Edoardo and has told Beatrice he’s banned from the palace.”
“She called Beatrice in for an urgent meeting as soon as she heard the news and told her under no circumstances was she to bring him to any royal functions – and all previous invitations were firmly off.”
For Bea, who has been single since she split from her boyfriend of 10 years Dave Clarke in 2016, her grandmother’s disapproval came as a massive blow.
“Bea was in floods of tears as her grandmother gave her the no-nonsense talk, and she was desperately trying to plead with her and insist Edo is a good man,” says the insider.
Clearly this latest outing proves Beatrice is determined to keep working on her relationship despite the controversy.
