Pippa Middleton is ramping up her pre-wedding prep by hosting the ultimate family dinner.
The bride-to-be invited big sis Kate and Prince William to her West London home with fiancé 41-year-old James Matthews on Thursday evening.
The Daily Mail reported that the evening gave Kate and Wills the chance to get to know the 33-year-old’s in-laws David Matthews and Jane Parker.
Also getting a seat at the best table in town were Pippa and Kate’s little brother James Middleton and future brother-in-law and reality star Spencer Matthews.
Kate and Will were snapped leaving at a very respectable time of 11:30pm.
The mum-of-two took advantage of the warmer weather, donning a black floral dress from Alice Temperley’s Somerset collection while her hubby kept it casual in jeans and a button up shirt.
Notably missing from the evening were Pippa’s folks Carole and Michael Middleton, who no doubt have a lot to plan.
The proud parents will be hosting their daughter’s wedding reception on the grounds of their Bucklebury home.
The wedding, set for May 20th at St Marks’s Church in Englefield, will be an intimate 150 guest affair.
Many royal fans suspect that Prince George and Princess Charlotte will be part of the bridal party.
While it will be a far cry from the 2011 royal wedding, there is no doubt that Kate will be very involved with the big day.
She’s already helped her sister begin the celebrations.
Catherine helped covertly orgnaise a very top-secret hens for Pippa the same weekend William was in the Alps.
According to The Sun, while Prince William’s mates were in Verbier in Switzerland, Kate and Pippa were just around the corner for a skiing holiday in Meribel, France.
Both parties even shared the same private jet, which was paid by the bride’s parents.
“Pippa loves skiing so it was her first choice for a hen weekend,” a friend told the British publication.
“They stayed in a really exclusive catered chalet with maids and chef, who ensured that they were totally spoilt.”
“The owners also wanted to impress their royal guests so the girls were showered with gifts.”
“They were given Swatch watches, Ugg slippers, leather-bound notebooks and bespoke fragrances. It was a very small, private party and they had an amazing time.”
The insider also revealed what Kate thought of William’s boozy boys lunch.
“Apparently the girls on Pippa’s hen were giggling as Kate told them that William had had to be escorted down from the mountain for being too drunk after that lunch on the Sunday.”
“All the girls thought it was hilarious. He wasn’t allowed to ski as he’d had too much to drink. The staff didn’t want him to get hurt.”
