While the foursome may be heading their separate ways in the charity space, with it being announced recently that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex would be splitting from the Royal Foundation, there’s still plenty of amazing efforts being made by the four royals as a team – and the latest achievement is case in point.

Taking to Instagram on July 31, both Sussex Royal and Kensington Palace announced some encouraging news about an initiative launched by the Fab Four only months ago.

In May, Give Us A Shout was launched by William, Catherine, Meghan and Harry. The charity is a telephone operation service which provides help to people when they need it – be it in a moment of crisis or to help them form a long-term plan and sharing support down the track.

This week, the service has officially already reached 100,000 conversations – an incredible sign that it’s making an amazing impact on those who need help.

“Congratulations 👏 to the incredible team of @giveusashoutinsta volunteers, who have now taken 100,000 text conversations,” Kensington Palace announced on Instagram.

The royals also confirmed the service had exchanged a whopping four million messages of support.

Over on Sussex Royal, Harry and Meghan’s big announcement was similar: “Sending a big shout out and congratulations to the @giveusashoutinsta team.”

In their caption, the royals added some additional information about the amazing helpline: “Life can feel overwhelming for so many reasons. Our Crisis Volunteers are there for you 24/7 & will talk to you about whatever is troubling you: stress, relationships, anxiety, loneliness, sexuality, bullying, self-harm & depression.”

The Cambridges and Sussexes are doing a lot of work in the charity space.

It’s an encouraging update for the Fab Four, especially given the short span of time the charity has been operating for.

In June, it was officially announced that Princes Harry and William would be going their separate ways from the Royal Foundation, which has been a long standing project between the two brothers.

The foundation itself will continue to be headed by Prince William and Duchess Catherine, while Harry and Duchess Meghan are in the process of setting up their own charitable organisation.

Earlier this month, it was revealed the Sussexes have already officially named their new charity to be Sussex Royal The Foundation of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

The pair have also reportedly brought in some new staffers to help lead their new foundation.

Indeed former Royal Foundation employee Natalie Campbell is joining team Sussex Royal, as well as PR manager Sara Latham.

It is expected the pair will be making some more announcement about their new charity and the work and projects that will come under its umbrella in the coming months.
