If the reports out of the UK are anything to go by, it’s time to dust off your best hat!
Word from The Mail on Sunday claims a besotted Prince Harry is keen to marry his girlfriend of a year, Meghan Markle, sooner rather than later.
“Harry has found the girl he wants to spend the rest of his life with. He is fuelling all the talk about the future,” a close pal explains to the publication.
In fact, the 32-year-old reportedly wants to get on bended knee before his birthday on September 15.
The Invictus Games, which brought them together in the first place, will be held just a few days later in Toronto on September 26, so all eyes will be on Meghan Markle and that finger if she attends this year’s event.
“There’s no question they are madly in love,” another pal attests.
“Harry is really happy, and from seeing them together I’d say it’s just a question of when, not if, he’s going to ask her to marry him.”
As for the date the nuptial would be held, Harry would have to check in with his grandmother The Queen for final date approval and ensure there’s no clashes with the jam-packed royal calendar.
Indeed, since they went public with their romance all signs have pointed to a serious match. Meghan and Harry have clocked up some series air miles jetting between London and Toronto and when they aren’t together, they reportedly FaceTime twice a day.
Further fuelling speculation a royal wedding could be just around the corner is the fact that Suits star Meghan has already tried on wedding gowns – and who can blame her really?
According to The Sun, Meghan was recently out shopping for a dress with friends in Canada when she decided to try on some white wedding frocks.
“She thought it’d be fun. She was with a couple of friends and they all thought she looked gorgeous,” a source says.
She reportedly opted for two breathtaking dresses by Toronto designer Paloma Blanca.
The first dress was a strapless bodice with a full, ruffled skirt and the other featured a stomach-baring midriff, which Meghan admitted would be too risque for a royal wedding.

“She joked she couldn’t walk down the aisle of Westminster Abbey in it. But the fact she’s trying on dresses and thinking about their wedding shows how serious they are,” a pal tells The Sun.
Harry certainly had a spring in his step as he attended the British Summer Time Festival in London’s Hyde Park over the weekend.
Roll on September!
