In case you were still cringing from the influx of soppy social media posts from Valentines, Prince Harry is here to one-up them all with his very unexpected tribute to Duchess Meghan.
This year, Harry and Meghan spent their first Valentine’s Day as a married couple apart, with the ginger Prince visiting the Bardufoss training base in Norway while his pregnant wife stayed home in London.
But it certainly didn’t mean Harry forgot her – in fact, he did quite the opposite when he sat down in a full blown shrine dedicated to the Duchess.
Yep, you read that right.
The shrine, created by two British servicemen the Duke was visiting, was staged in a makeshift igloo featuring images of Meghan and Harry on their wedding day, complete with candles and soft music.
While some might consider it sweet, and others a little bit much, Prince Harry himself had only one reaction – to laugh.
“You weirdos,” he joked to the servicemen.
“It’s very kind of you to invite me into your private shrine or whatever you want to call it. And the music, is that part of it? Very romantic.”
Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan are preparing to welcome their first child in the British spring this year, and it’s clear the pair couldn’t be more excited to be parents.
Earlier this week, the Duke and Duchess stepped out for a date night at the Natural History Museum where they viewed a gala performance of The Wider Earth.
And earlier in February, the pair again stepped out looking glam for the Endeavour Fund Awards, which honours injured and sick military veterans who have excelled in sporting and adventure pursuits.
During the glam event, Meghan shared a rare insight into her life with Prince Harry, telling a guest: “[Harry’s] going to be the best dad.”

This isn’t the first time the couple have shared some affectionate gestures with the world.
While in New Zealand late last year, Prince Harry snapped an adorable picture of Meghan in a forest near Rotorua where she is seen holding her bump.
The picture was later shared by Kensington Palace, and melted hearts the world over.
And it’s no secret Prince Harry is excited to be a parent alongside Meghan. In fact, Prince Harry recently said that despite the mounting work involved, he was feeling very prepared.
“I’m ready!” He animatedly told a fan upon being told raising a child would take a lot of work.
We can’t wait to see many more sweet moments between the parents-to-be over the coming months!
